Project is designed for 6th graders at elementary schools in Banska Bystrica. Aim of the project is to promote knowledge about the European Union and its processes.
Using an interesting presentation with various interactive elements, we presented to pupils basic information about the European Union, its main ideas, institutions and mainly the advantages of our membership. Each pupil have received at the begging of the lesson materials related to the topic of the lecture.

Test
At the of the lesson, the pupils filled in a test which was supposed to verify their obtained knowledge. 5 students, who scored the most points in the test were qualified for the finals.
Finals
Finals have taken form of an orientation run in the historic center of Banska Bystrica. Pupils have received maps with different posts and their task was to answer question and resolve different assignements concerning the town of Banska Bystrica. The fastest team with most points have won the main prize.
Winner´s Trip
Five winners of the finals together with the best pupil from the first round had possibility to attend the trip to Bratislava. Firstly, they visited The Representation of the European Commission in the Slovak republic. Secondly, they had an unique opportunity to visit The National Council of the Slovak republic, where they were accompanied by MP Martin Klus, member of the Foreign Affairs committee. Together they also visited the Plenary room of the Nation Council.
